About the Exotic Leather

 

Our handbags are crafted from controlled and registered exotic skins. The pirarucu leather undergo a unique, organic process without the use of heavy metals, known as Bio Leathers, making pirarucu leather integrate into nature faster at the end of its lifecycle without heavy metal contamination.

Care & Maintenance of your Pirarucu Item

• Avoid long lasting sun exposure to prevent fading/stains due to its organic dye process.

• Minor shine loss or color/scale size variations are normal due to individual leather characteristics and organic dye.

• Light-colored leathers may stain from liquids or friction (e.g., rubbing against dark jeans).

• Wood handles/details may vary in tone/shape due to their natural, handmade nature.

• To keep your Pirarucu items looking good over the years, we recommend using a flannel slightly damp in a solution with water and neutral soap for deeper cleaning. Avoid other chemicals.

• Store preferably in the dustbag, away from light, in a ventilated area.
